Beth Burns currently serves as the Executive Director of Abundant Life. Since 2016 she has worked exuberantly within this organization, translating her passion for the sanctity of life and the unity of the Body of Christ into tangible service. An extrovert by nature, this role is a dream come true! Bringing people together to better serve moms and at-risk babies is her favorite part of the job. Beth is deeply in love with her husband Jared; they have been blessed with three children that fill their home with joy.
Makenzie Steele currently serves as the North Liaison for Abundant Life. She felt drawn to pro-life ministry in college and had the privilege of beginning this work at Bethany Christian Services as one of their Pregnancy Counselors. This role opened her eyes to the amazing network of pro-life ministries in Washington. She treasured Abundant Life’s uncommon collaboration as an integral tool while working in the adoption world. Now, she is passionate to support these organizations and encourage their collaboration. Makenzie adores her husband Bo, and together they enjoy listening to live music, frequenting local coffee shops, playing board games, kayaking and finding the perfect hammock spot.
Mary Johnson currently serves as the West Liaison for Abundant Life. Mary loves that her role at Abundant Life is so outward focused and that it gives her the opportunity to put her beliefs into action. She is passionate about providing support to the organizations that faithfully serve women and families in crisis, as well connecting her community to information about the ways pro-life ministries are serving. When she is not serving with Abundant Life, Mary loves doing life with her husband, Boston, and their dog, Malachi. Any day spent outside in the beautiful PNW with loved ones and doing a fun activity (such as paddle boarding, hiking, or playing tennis) is a great day in her book!
Stephanie Deckys currently serves as the South Liaison for Abundant Life. She had the privilege of beginning her pro- life work volunteering for Care Net of Puget Sound, a non-profit pregnancy and sexual health resource organization in 2017 and later coming on staff as the Client Services director of their Kenmore clinic. This experience not only enlarged her heart for the unborn, the lost, and those in need, but deepened her appreciation for how non-profits seek to improve the quality of other’s lives. Stephanie is married to her best friend Bernie. They enjoy taking long walks together and getting to spend quality time with their three grown children.
